Visionare and entreprenuer born and raised in Colombia. I started painting when I was 9. I grew up with an artistic environment that is Bogota, Colombia. Wether it was people dancing or singing while selling bread, my mother always appreciated works of art. i picked up a paint brush ever since and learned the hardest techniques there was to learn, which allowed me to really pursue this forever. I began studying art and received a masters in linguistic science, but my electives throughout my studying always has been focused on art...
Exibited my work in the Jorge Tadeo Lozano gallery in Bogota and at the Galería del Cuadrado in the city center as my career developed. Then i opened my academy and began teaching art classes from all levels.
20 years in the art industry now i implement my designs on fabric which was the birth of my brand Cortes Colombia, i hope to bring back the appreciation for art. From canvas to fabric sourcing the highest materials from italian leather to central and south american fabrics and american cottons i aim to create beautiful custom made materpiences! Each piece is one of a kind and will always be limited.
